RELEASE: NMGC Announces New Board Members and Recognizes 2018 Award Recipients
During a successful Annual Conference and Summer Business Meeting attended by representatives from our member organizations in Tallahassee, Florida earlier this month, the National Multicultural Greek Council elected a new President and Secretary to serve for the 2018-2020 term, and recognized awards recipients from among the member organizations for their valuable contributions to their communities, their unwavering commitment to the growth of multicultural Greek life, and to promoting the mission and living the values of the NMGC.
STATEMENT: NMGC President and Member Orgs Call to Action to Address Family Separation Crisis at the U.S. Border
All people have the human right to migrate. While borders are socially-constructed barriers, denying humans of the ability to seek refuge from the dangers they may be facing is harmful to our global community. Our country is now facing a crisis due to a policy choice, not a legal one, that calls into question basic human decency and universal human rights principles.
